I had one running with some Turkeys a couple of years ago. That was a strange site.

That would be a cool fan to display if you have wall space LOL Haven't seen a stuffed peacock in all those trophy room pics on here. You bound to have neighbors close by with them. Wonder what their range is.

I'd sure like some of those tail feathers. Peacock hurl is an awesome fly tying material.

Talk about an obnoxious bird!! They're worse than guinneas!! Very vocal with an abrasive call AND they do it at night!! You DO NOT want them hanging round your camp... They crap 10 times worse than turkeys too! Very aggressive toward deer and other animals when they get used to a feed station and think it's "theirs"!! If that were my feeder and I saw that, I'd be slinging an arra or better yet, lead!

They can live in the wild for many years. I know of 2 that lived in a park on a lake I hunt. They didn't trust people. But would wonder into your camp if you put feed out for them. They also lost all their color feathers and tail feathers. Tame, they make the best watchdogs you could have.

Same here several years back in the Brackettville area. Thought I was going crazy the first time I saw it. Was always with a group of turkeys.
