I will say though, when one of those suckers are flying down a trail straight towards you while in a ladder stand and it seems like it is staring at you like its about to rip your face off, it can put a chill down your spine. Haha

They are so quiet in flight it’s eerie. Had one knock a hunting partner’s cap off while calling coyotes one night and didn’t hear it coming in.

I get lots of Barred Owls on camera, never have had a Great Horned Owl though. Really good pics!

I have a Screech Owl that has moved in. He just shows up to see what I am doing occasionaly.
