    Casinos and blackjack

A very long time ago(1990's) I figured out how casinos can and sometimes cheat at blackjack. Very few people believed they did. I guess now that things have changed (moved to other cheating techniques) the old school cheats are now out to be seen.

Interesting watch. I bet they still do some of these things.

Step into the shadowy corners of the blackjack world as we expose how dealers can manipulate the game to their advantage. Featuring renowned casino cheating ...

Very tricky. It's definitely slight of hand type stuff going on there.

I thought casinos dealt blackjack from a shoe.

Ever since Covid and even before, the casino's have reduced the amount of single deck and double deck black jack. Even a lot of the blackjack games now have a fire bet or some gimmick costing you money and only paying a certain payout if you don't do the "extra bet." Even craps is getting harder to find a square table unless you wanna do a $25 min table.

I like to play blackjack, but I hate to lose money. I think that’s what they call a conundrum.

The prism in the shoe where they can know what the next card is trick...I was called all sorts of names for making that claim in the 90's. I was assured casinos would not risk using one even if they did exist LOL. Never play if the shoe has a hole where they can touch the first card while sliding up before sliding top card out. I never saw what one looked like until this video. But I did catch a casino with cheating dealers in Wendover NV. on single deck blackjack. Was obvious to me they were cheating as tables were full (with people waiting) yet no one was winning at all.. You'd think they'd play even a hand or two then win but they were winning almost every time. I was sitting back at closest slot watching the bottom card when they shuffled. About every other one I could see the bottom card and twice I saw it was the A of spades which just happened to be dealt last to dealer.

It's very interesting to see how deep Vegas gets. I'm sure they are 10 levels deeper these days and above my head.

It's crazy to think about the tricks they might have pulled. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those old-school cheats are still lingering around in some form or another, even with all the modern technology and techniques they use now. It's always good to stay aware and keep an eye out for anything fishy, especially when it comes to gambling. By the way, if you're still looking for more info on this topic, I have a suggestion. Gambling is one of those strange games where the only winning move is not to play.
