Prayers Needed For My Community

Blake Long, the youth pastor at FBC Hamshire where I live passed away this afternoon. A couple of days ago he suffered a brain aneurysm, and there just wasn’t much they could do for him. He was a young man, 25 or 26, but his presence was huge in our community. He brought many of the students in the district I teach for to Christ, and was heavily involved in the community. To make things even more tragic, his wife, who I teach with, is pregnant with their first child. I can’t even begin to imagine what she’s going through right now. If you could, send some prayers our way. There are a lot of families, as well as young kids, who are really hurting right now.
