Muzzleloader Bullet Question

Traditions .50 shooting 2 white hots and 305gn smackdowns. Dropped 2 nilgai cows in their tracks this weekend at Bahai Grande. They shoot good out to 175-200.

Thank you, My GF killed hers at 80 and mine I killed at 120.

I typically shoot 3-4 deer a year with a muzzleloader. After shooting the Hornady bullets for years I started using the Barnes Spitfire T-EZ bullets in 2023. I have been very pleased with the accuracy, which is consistent with the Hornady bullets, I do like the better blood trails provided by the Barnes. I also shoot a 100 grain of Triple 7 pellets and a 209 primer in a CVA optima.
