Trying to see if some one on here can help me out with a problem. Our Whirlpool washer quit this morning. It will not cycle through rinse or drain just will not do any thing like it has no power. I have tried to check every thing I can. I thought it might have some sort of a lid switch like a dryer does but seems it does not. Any ideas what I might look for. Thanks for any help Guys.

I unplugged mine and plugged back in a few years ago when it was doing something similar. Fixed it. -

There is a lid switch its hidden under the control panel on top. It has a bad connection. Thanks againComment

I was going to suggest the door lock latch. What causes my newer Maytag problems all the time. Learned to just leave it unplugged between using, problem solved.Originally posted by JFFB View PostComment
