Wind and Solar are the problem. ERCOT has depended on it too much. Neither would have made it past a few years on any scale without government money (tax dollars) and regulations some by executive orders.

Technically true. But they are governed by the PUC of Texas. Just a bunch of bureaucrats and appointed people running ERCOT and making bank. It is controlled by politicians and their owmers.
