Lease price per acre, quality, area question.

Demand is high and is driving prices. What are y'all paying and what are y'all shooting? What area/state?

Hill country, 10 guns, 3200 acres with a decent camphouse with electricity and water. We pay $3k per gun and if we kill one deer over 140 a year we are doing really good. I should also add that exotics are not allowed, but we do have year around access.

$9 per acre in Pittsburg county Oklahoma, 550 acres. 11 yo daughter shot a 10 that scored about 135, lot of bucks from 120” to about 145” or so. Let me tell you, you will not find a price like this online, you have to get out and look.

I have found that for a shot at 150" the price per acre tend to be .001% of the value of the land itself.

dimmit county low fence, 19$/ac, boat loads of deer compared to other areas I've hunted. 120-150", and it might be the easiest place to fill tags (which is requested by owners)

I have leases in Newton $12.50 per acre, Polk $10 per acre, Hardin $10 per acre, Schleicher $ 6.50 acre, and Kinney $6 an acre, Counties.

They all have deer. Some places are easier to hunt than others. I have killed 130”-155” on these leases.

East Texas, can’t say what we pay (cheap), deer are there, some good bucks, don’t know what they would score, maybe 120-130, we don’t feed. Been about 3 years since a big buck has been killed.

Hardin/Liberty almost 11 an acre for 5800 acres….good but expensive. Get deer over 130 every year, have two close to 145 this year. 28 members.

I'm curious what a "camp house" adds to the prices.

Roughly $12/acre in McCulloch county. Low fence, includes 4BR house and cleaning station. Includes all feed/protein. We take 150”+ each year on average with several over 160 up to 185.

It’s taken years of like minded management to get to where it is, it wasn’t like that when I got on. It’s nice to see the effort paying off.
