Container home for the deer lease

I am looking for a 30-40 foot container home for my deer lease - does anyone know where to find one of these? I am willing to buy one already made or have someone make one for me - thanks

We got ours from XCaliber in Graham Tx. Very happy with it.

What’s it cost to move a 40’? Estimate 300 miles.

Part of my retirement plan is to have a travel trailer to kove
to different areas for a place to stay while fishing, to reduce the daily cost of staying in hotels or AirBNB type places.

i started thinking about this option over a travel trailer due to maintenance, durability and not being moved but once or twice a year.

We used Waters Ag Storage Containers near Wichita Falls and they were great to work with. They beat prices in San Angelo (where it was being delivered) even with the distance of the delivery.

You can buy one with welded door/frame and window in it, and do the rest yourself.

inside build out isnt structural so do 24” centers to save money and weight, I do suggest Min of R-21 insulation for the roof. I have 19 on walls 21 on roof. Next will probably spray foam just roof or R30 Think it makes a difference in summer.

As far as power I suggest set it up RV style 30amps or 50 amp. I suggest try to being efficient in electrical as possible so you can run off a portable generator if need be. LED lighting etc.

I have two window units now but I think 110v mini splits its a better system, but Window unit with heat pump style works great.

most expensive part of whole container out side of HVAC is bathroom, if you use your imagination you can save a lot of money not using a shower kit, but thats more labor.

water heater I use 6 gal point of use with RV style head.

stay away from sheet rock, its heavy and will crack out. I used smart siding

There is a guy in Liberty Hill that does them. I don't know anything about them. I met the owner once as he called me to track a deer for him. He's a bowhunter, seemed like a good guy.
