Looking for certified electrician near hallettsville

If anyone knows of a good one or you are one I’d appreciate the info.

Kind of small job: hooking up a transfer switch for back up generator.

    TIA

So I received my first quote for the interlock ( waiting on the two above to get back to me)

I’m electrical stupid so I had no idea it was even close to this!

Install a 50A breaker at the top right space of the panel
2.Install the Interlock kit for a SQ D panel
            3.Provide a 10' cord with plugs
            3.Install a 50A generator inlet
4.Perform a load test to verify the performance of the generator
            $1580 w/ $780 being labor.

            does that sound about right?

he’s busy so I don’t understand why he wants to put the new 50 amp breaker where the 100 is.

The new breaker has to be in the top right spot for the interlock plate to work. Looks like there is space to move the existing breaker down to the bottom and hopefully enough wire to reach. Price honestly seems a bit high in my uneducated opinion. Google interlock kits and you can see a picture of how they work. Lowes in. Victoria has them.

Looks like plenty of wire to me. And plenty of room on the bottom.
