Muzzleloader Season Question

I hunt in Jasper county and was told to
me by a coworker that during muzzleloader season only youth can shoot a 13” or greater buck along with a doe. This person was adamant that anyone over 16 can only shoot does and spike bucks during the muzzleloader season. I can’t find anything in the regulations that state that. Has anyone got any knowledge of this?

That’s how it used to be but now it’s just an extension of the general season.If you have a 13 inch buck tag shoot ‘em.

Thanks. That’s what I thought too but this coworker is one that believes he knows everything about everything lol.

sometimes the regs are confusing to read so that’s why I asked to get another’s take.
