I bought some generic lighted nocks off Amazon last year. I had multiple malfunctions where the nock lit up as soon as i nocked it on string. It was hard to get it shut off. Very aggravating. Does this happen with 'name brand' lighted nocks. Nockturnals or Lumenoks? Thoughts?

lighted nocks are great and also a PITA. I like Nockturnals due to the ease of turning them off. Lumenoks are a PITA trying to turn them off. So, I guess to answer your question it depends on how they turn off/on. Lumenoks are great out of the box, but need a freaking pair of plyers to turn them off. Even then it seems they will turn back on if the wind blows hard enough or if you look at them wrong. Any nock can be accidentally turned on when nocking the arrow if you nock it hard enough.
