    Truck Prices / Shopping

In the market for a new pickup. Primarily looking at the 2023 F-150's. Anyone bought a new truck lately? mind telling me how much you got off their listed price? I am not 100% tied to the Ford F-150. Also open to newer, low mileage used trucks as well. Any input on what i can expect negotiating wise would be greatly appreciated. Im really trying to stay under the $50k mark which seems like it is going to be tough.

I haven't bought lately, but it sure seems like I have seen a lot of dealers offering some pretty aggressive deals, especially from the Ram guys. I was shopping a Chevy and could find a 1/2 ton 4x4 diesel RST trim in the mid 40's pretty easily.

If you are paying cash there are some pretty good discounts on XLTs right now that will get you in the low $50s. But you will be paying 6-8% if you finance. You can get 2.9% if you finance BUT you give up most of the rebates. So then you are back up to $60k

I just bought a 2023 F150 STX package last week. That's probably the only way to stay at/under $50k and still get a good rate(2.9%).

I was originally looking at F-150's but changed my mind after seeing what they cost equipped like I wanted. I ended up buying a new Nissan Titan Pro-4x Crew Cab decked out with every option for $11k off sticker. I believe it was around $54k plus tt&l after discounts. A Ford equipped the same way would have been in the $70k's before discounts. The Interest rate is what was the worst. i had a 830 credit score and got a 7.9% interest rate. My local bank will refi for 6.5%.

2023 F150 F150 FX4 pretty much loaded has a little over 2000 miles on it now. Listed for over $66,000 and between factory rebates and dealer discount, about $8000 off sticker. Bird Kultgen Ford in Waco.

Traded in a 2020 F350 C/C FX4 STX pkg longbed with the 7.3 gasser. Paid $47,000 out the door in May 2020 and got $40,000 trade in with 60,000+ mileage. they turned around and sold this truck for $48,000 in less than a week!!!!!!

Financed for 3 years thru Ford and got 1.9%. 870 credit rating and the wife's was perfect credit rating.

I hope my old trucks can keep ticking along for now.

Texans are over leveraged in auto loans and I don't see how it continues on.

I'm in the market as soon as the used market gets friendly to a tightwad!

I bought a 2023 tundra crew max for 36k + TTL in June. I had a f150 before but they were a lot more expensive than the tundra. I got the base model SR but you cant tell a difference IMO unless you get 4-5 trim levels up.

Best way I have found. Find the vehicle you like. Send every dealer in country you’re willing to travel. See who gives you the best price. Had a friend that bought him a Chevy Tahoe and went to Georgia to get it.
