Which ones did you get? I am going to look up there myself.

If I wanted to switch from lead-acid to lithium what would be required for the cart and charging set up?

Sams has Duracell golf cart batteries worth the money. Might check them out. Not sure you will be able to find a 36V lithium battery. All I have ever seen was 48V.

I just changed mine out last year. 48 volt. I wanted to go the lithium battery route, but I couldn't justify the price. I could find 36 volt lithium batteries everywhere, but 48 volt were scarce and very expensive. Settled for US brand.

Duracell from Sam's. $119 I've had them in mine for 4 years or so now. Keep them filled and they will last a long time.

I've been in the golf cart business for many years now and we always used US Battery or Trojans for lead acid setups. On the OEM side, that's all we installed in our new carts as well. Even with US Battery, i would spend the extra money and go with their 2000 or 2200 series batteries. The 1800 would start to die off at the 3-4 year mark. Lithium is the way to go if you have the coin. RoyPow and ECO Batt both have good setups. We imported our own brand of lithium batteries directly from China for a while but the support wasnt there with a lesser known brand.

Thanks for all the info, I went with some Trojans. The kids have been enjoying riding in their papaw's golf cart.

Absolutely, Trojans are indeed great quality! If you're looking to purchase them, consider giving a call to contarmarket customer service. They can check their stock for you. If they happen to be out of stock, no worries—just leave your request with them, and they'll get in touch with you as soon as they become available. Simple and convenient!

I have this brand in my boat, no problems yet. Been thinking about putting some in my golf cart when it's time to replace.

I just upgraded to lithium and should have done it much sooner. 48v setup was right around $2k, the single battery weights around 100lbs, one of the Trojans I replaced was 85, range is around 40 miles. The battery came with a screen and charger, nothing extra needed to make the swap.

Just converted 2000 club car to 2 48v epoch lithium batteries replacing 6 lead acid. $1500 for the kit, 11 year warranty on the batteries, works great, no battery maintenance required, less weight, more speed, much longer range between charges.

As mentioned BigBattery Plus. I did a 36v TXT a few years ago with their Gator Max for about $1700. Totally worth it. It charges to more like 45-46 and makes tons more power and range.
