Shout out to Chris ( chrisgunguy )

A while back i reached out to Chris to see if it would be possible for my son and i to take a tour of the Staccato firearms facility. My son is 15 and is all about handguns and is planning to pursue a career in that industry one day. Well Chris made time to give us a tour yesterday. We spent an hour and a half in the facility and Chris explained every step of the process from blocks of aluminum and steel to a finished product. We were amazed at the process and how these things come together to produce a fantastic hand gun. Really was a great experience all around.

Thank you Chris for the time you spent with us, it was great

Man that’s awesome stuff right there. I bet your boy’s mind was blown. A life changing event.
I bet he had a hard time sleeping that night.
I would love to see that myself!!

Was a pleasure showing you and your son around Kirby. Thanks for the kind words. Anytime you want to borrow a gun for a test drive I have most of them and you're willing to test them out.

I bet having a better understanding of the mfg process, tooling investments, payroll & overhead makes the light come on when it comes to why upper end guns can get pricey.

This sounds so cool! I love it when business organizations take the time to educate our up and coming leaders.

Kudos to you, Staccato, for recognizing the importance of of inspiring our youth in pursuit of their dreams and for recognizing the significance of doing so on a personal level.

Yet another reason to “shop locally” or “buy Texas.” You may get a slightly better price at a big box store, but you will never get a better deal.

I didn’t realize we had someone here who was connected with a firearms manufacturer. How cool for TBH !

No doubt about it. The machines and processes involved in those guns is amazing, and they are not done expanding. They even make ammo and that was equally amazing as well.

That's how the STI Tbh builds came about

Ill second his help. Couple years ago I was trying to find a pistol that had apparently been discontinued. He found one 15 minutes from me and a dealer I didn't know existed
