Anyone know anything about dealing with a sick pig?

Show pig? Call ag teacher or county extension agent or vet. What’s wrong with it?

Almost impossible to get any meds without a vet or someone who has a great relationship with a vet anymore but what’s wrong with it?

baytril is a common antibiotic you can give and Dex is an anti inflammatory

confine the pig under a heat lamp
keep it warm

Most of the sick pigs I deal with require a follow up shot.

Got some baytril and dex yesterday. Seems to be doing much better today. Following up with a second round today.

She just went lethargic and quit eating/drinking. She is pregnant so it may be something related to that. Temp went from low to high but brought her in and she seems to be recovering now. Just not sure about the babies. Haven't felt much movement.
