Me and a buddy were scouting for some new stand locations up in Laneville (Rusk County in East Texas) and came up on a grove of these trees near the head of two huge springs. I'm thinking they are some type of maple but not sure. There was a bunch of them just in about a 50yd diameter area where the two big spring heads were. Any help on an exact identification?

It hasn't been hunted since the 90's when her Grandpa passed. Me and one of my best friends are going to hunt it. We were up there yesterday and put up two feed pens with cameras and corned them up real good. We put 3 other cameras on some game trails to try to get an idea of what's up there.
