Insurance recommendation

I’m buying a 111 acres with a cabin and I’m in need of insurance. Only fire and hazard insurance only, no liability. My current agent cannot offer such a policy. Any suggestions?

Liability on something like that is like $90 a year. You would be an idiot to not have that if you can even get it. Some better life immigrant might get an ingrown toenail on your property and it’s all your fault.

Why no liability? Should be a really low rate.

I asked an insurance agent years ago why my auto insurance kept going up when the auto value went down. His response was it's the liability coverage that kept the rates up.

I have no problem paying for liability insurance. I just don't seem to be able to get any quote. My current agent told me he cannot offer me a quote due to hunting in the property.
I don't know if this is something new or what as I had insurance on a previous property and was never asked that (same agent!)
