Insurance Question.

If someone has a one vehicle accident, no one injured and basically totals a new vehicle, will the insurance company decline the claim if the person gets the vehicle home without notifying the DPS or anyone else to fill out an accident report. My cousin in east Texas hydroplaned his truck and called a friend to bring a trailer and haul it home. I don`t think the insurance company is going to pay without a report of some kind, but I may be wrong.

He'll be fine. Very common not to have a police report, especially if the vehicle is drivable. Even in multiple vehicle accidents, folks exchange info and go on their way.
