    Cost to Build a Shop?

Wanting to have a shop built to house our snowmobiles, atv's, boat and jeep. Our property around our home is mostly wetlands so the only real viable spot to put a shop is basically in line with our main home, because of this I think it would be best to have the shop match our house. Just curious if anyone has a rough idea of what it would cost to have a 30x40 shop built as I'm not sure if we're looking at $40k or $100k. Vinyl siding w/ shingle roof, single rollup door, gas/electricity (home utilities marked in red on aerial photo, so a short run), and concrete slab - at this point I don't think I need plumbing but the septic tanks and mound are also on that same side if needed.

Neighbor of mine in New Braunfels just had a 30x40x12’ metal building built for $108k with a rock exterior and 2 panel doors.

30x40 with 14 ft walls and extra 20 ft covered in front of 12 ft door cost me $54,000. 30x60 slab. 12 ft door with side opener and side entry door, also.

Just built one this past year. 30x60 Metal Shop, 4 roll up bay doors, 1 pedestrian door, Regular roll insulation with the white plastic material face, 14' walls 16' peak, Slab same size about average of 1-2' thick.....No electrical and no plumbing, yet.

After Land Clearing/Prep, Slab, Materials, Labor (contracted out) I was all in at around $75-85k if I remember correctly

Now, I bought the building materials and the doors myself from a company out of Huntsville, Tx to keep the middle man out, which saved me a few thousand. Also, I live in the Hill Country out towards the Frio River so the ground/prep work was horrible and cost alot more then let's say somewhere in softer/flatter ground

Now the things I did on my own was to grind and surface the Slab and clear seal it. I also went back after the put the frame up and painted the entire frame Red Oxide and the door frames black (since my building is white with black trim). The reason I painted the while framing is the red iron steel they used was a couple different colors and also everywhere they welded would have rusted and then possibly had orange stain running down if humidity got inside, so I painted everything once they were done with the framing and before they put the walls/insulation up
