It just blows my mind that that 19# dog is not one bit scared of a 150# pig!!!!! He jumped on that big sow like he knew he was gonna whip her azz!!!!
He’s bayed up several wounded critters in the last month since I started using the GPS collar, a couple pigs and a big mouflan ram. I’m pretty sure we would not have recovered any of them if I would have had him on lead like before. I’m also pretty sure that both of us like tracking off lead waaaay better than on the lead.

Bisch- you can put a cut collar on a terrier but can’t weigh them down. My Jagd got in those types of deals several times. He didn’t just bay and he worked close. I watch him several times get thrown- I would think he was gonna be cut bad. Nope - Gotta let the dog do what it lives to do
i didn’t run mine on lead either.

I wouldn't run a vest on a Terrier. I used to run Jagds and even with proper terrier sized vests it really hinders movement. I only run vests on my Pits now.
Getting tossed by a hog is nothing for a terrier. You've just seen it for yourself. It looks and sounds like all heck is breaking loose when a dog is on a hog, but the dog was fine.
Especially with a terrier that bays. They are typically smart and will bay until help arrives. It's the terriers that think they are a 50+lb Bulldog that get themselves killed because they have zero self preservation instinct.
