I use No Pest Strips in my blinds. They do a great job of eliminating the bugs. I do the zip lock bag method also.

I don't know, but I do know that I would rather hang out with a NPS a few hours than a swarm of wasps for 5 mins.

I've never had an enclosed blind so I'm no help.

We put the no pest strips in our blinds in September. They will keep the wasps out all season. By the time the season starts the fumes are not noticeable.
if we don’t put those out the blind will be full of wasps once it starts getting cold.
          they work very well.

I keep no pest strips in my blinds year round. I always hunt in the blinds with them in there. Have for years.

I've been using the cattle ear/fly tags. Started using them in the well house, shop, and then tried them on the front porch.
When first put out, they will have a slight odor, but in a short while there is no noticeable smell. Mine lasted for over a year.

Do the same thing. Put/replace in blind in the July/August time frame. Never had an issue since starting this routine.

Used them in my blinds in S Tx about 10 years ago and I'm still above ground taking on nourishment with no issues--I don't think there are any things to worry about--wasp stings maybe.

Speaking of fly tags, have either of you used them on cattle and, if so, do you find them to be effective? We have problems with flies, especially on or light colored cows. Spraying and deworming help, but only so much and only for so long.

Supposed to be good for Horn Flies but I’ve only got a few head so I just dust mine and use a cattle back rub across the entry into the feed pen.
