    If you cant get a string rifle loaded and cocked with any of the 23 apparatus they make to facilitate that, maybe carry a speer.

      Primitive would be no let off, release aids, or sights for archery. For black powder it would be stuff the tube and no optics.
      I say just make a hunting season and shoot what makes you happy

      i can take a modern compound bow and draw it and put the bottom cam down on my leg and hold for at least 10 minutes. I have no idea how long I can actually do it but the bet I made was $50 for 10
      minutes. Then I was told I cheated by rolling the cam on my leg.
