I looked at the reviews after I posted this from my deer blind yesterday and you are correct. Not very good reviews. I have never eaten there anyway. Just putting it out there. Heard they have a neat train and Christmas decorations though.

It used to be good way back in the day. You can still see the tar on the walls from when you used to be able to smoke in there many moons ago The train is pretty cool!

We used to eat at the Campo Verde in Ft. Worth and really liked it. They have one 1️⃣ in Arlington too.

Campo Verde went down hill after the new owners, and it has gone way down hill.. Its unfortunate. We used to enjoy it with the family. Not any more. If you want a light display. Its cool. But that is it.

I`ve got great memories from the one in Ft. Worth back in the 80`s. The food, chips and Queso was great, and we were young with our whole lives ahead of us. Never understood why that location closed years ago.

Yup! I used to go to that one with the parents, when I was a kid. And even the one in Arlington after that one closed. Its been within the last 1-2 years that ownership changed. New guy is a jerk, and staff is unfriendly. Was a 3 hour wait one time. We called to make reservations and they wouldn't answer. When we walked in, they told us. "Should call and make reservations", we told them we tried to call, and they responded with "Oh yea, sometimes when its so busy, we just turn off the phone". Just dumb stuff... haven't been back since. The light display is prob worth it for a tourist. But don't expect too much as far as service or food. lol
