I've got a question:
I live in the New Orleans area, my Parents and my sisters live in Borene (Actually Village Green Subdivision) (my dad retired from Fluor there to be close to my sister *husband in the Air Force*) I have be pleading and just shy of begging them to help find me a place to hunt over near them. I would love to incorporate family time and some hunting when I go out to visit.
My wife and I are avid Bowhunters and travel a good bit around the gulf south to do so. We aren't opposed to breaking out the ole boom stick either for some meat.
So my question is: Do any of you have any recommendations for a good guide or outfitting ranch in that area? Most of my trips to Borene to visit family are in 7 day increments.
We aren't looking for any Trophies at this time. Just a nice Management buck and a doe or 2 each (More or less a meat hunt).
