    Hauling with 2019 F-150 5.0

Does anyone haul camper or trailer with this Model/engine combo? Mine has the 3.73 rear end. Wife talked about a camper but I have no idea.

I would haul my travel trailer with my 2018 and couldn’t hardly tell it was there. I want to say it was only 5-6K pounds though and had anti-sway bar system. If worried, put it in tow/haul mode.

I got 620 miles on my first tank. I didn’t even fill it all the way up because the gas pump cut me off at 20 gallons. My wife will hate it if we take it on a road trip.

I haul a 32' travel trailer that weighs 7400# with my 2011 F150 with a 5.0. Don't get in a hurry and you'll be ok. I get about 7.5-8mpg when towing. Have 280k miles on the truck and wouldn't hesitate to pull the camper cross country again. High wind or large hills/mountains suck and drinks a lot of gas. Just take it slow. If you're uncomfortable slow down. ,

I wish my trailer was 28' or smaller but it is what it is for now. May be changing truck and/or trailer in the next couple of years.

I pulled a 20’ trailer with a 4 door Tacoma 200 miles west on I-10 from San Antonio and my 2022 5.0 did great.
