    Questions on gate openers??

I'm looking to get a good gate opener for my front gate. I tried a might mule before it wasnt that great. I have a 12 foot tube gate I bought from lowes. It has a price of metal on it so it weighs a little more but less then 100 pounds. Any recommendations??

Nobody seems to like them but my daughter has a mighty mule that's worked good for more than 5 years.

I have a USAutomatic Patriot on my entrance. It's top notch.

I love my Ghost Controls. Mine swings a 14 foot gate with no issues rain, snow, or shine. I also got the upgraded control box so I can open or close the gate from anywhere with my phone.
Super handy if I need to let a contractor in or if I forget to close it or something.

I would start with level plumb free swinging gate preferably on ball bearing hinges. I had bad luck with mighty mules for years and then went with Apollo but I’ve had them for years and don’t know who has the best system now. Good luck

We’ve had an Apollo on our 16 ft front gate for over 13 years & it’s been great. Did have to replace the board in it once but that was due to the cows knocking the door open & of course it rained & fried it.

This is what we install, on all the gates we build !
                      American made too.

Ghost swinging 16 ft pipe fence. Very happy with it. Regardless of opener properly welded, plumb hinges make the heaviest of gates a breeze to open and close.

Had my us patriots a whopping three months and love it.
two 8 foot gates. Worth every penny I struggled to spend.
installed by the overhead door company out of Brownwood

I have the Apollo, had it for 15 years and only had to change the board in it one time. It's on a 16' gate and works great.
