I Got Called a OG Shizniz

I am a member on the SaddleHunter.com forum. I had made a post about the buck I killed on November 9th. I also posted my recap video and some pictures. I am known over on that forum for being one of the older saddle hunters. Here is the comment.

"This is some OG Shizniz if I ever saw it. I like your style sir".

Of course I didn't know what it meant.

I am sure most of you younger guys are familiar with this lingo, but I had to Google it. As it turns out it is a compliment.

OG stands for "Original Gangster" or "Old School" and Shizniz basically means...
A figure regarded in high-esteem by others.

Never to old to learn new stuff.

The older you get Google actually becomes your best friend. I never leave home without it. Last year during crawfish season a young ( 30ish) girl told me that my crawfish were the shi#s. I started to throw her out until it was brought to my attention that it was a compliment. Great stuff Mike.

Hmmm, I don’t get called anything like that Mike. My son’s best friend calls me papa. My best friend calls me an old fart. My wife calls me darling, sweetheart, honey, or if I’m doing something that doesn’t suit her, by my name. Reminds me of David Allan Coe, “Well it was all that I could do to keep from cryin’…….”
