This! And be careful with the forearm hand (fingers/thumb), the string will cut them clean off.

No, that's what I meant to say. Your thinking of an Air Javelin.

Grandson got a doe at our home place last Thanksgiving... so far it's still slingin' bolts straight and true, but every time I or whoever I have in the shooter's seat pulls the trigger I hold my breath...

STILL beats sitting home on the couch!
I am thankful for you allowing me to use such a fine bow and I about had a heart attack when it broke that day. So glad Mathews took care of it like they did.

Well, in that case you are wrong. A crossbow is nothing like a compound!!!! And I wasn’t thinking of an Air Javelin because I’ve never heard of one til you posted it in this thread!

I have the 330 from Excalibur. It is very accurate but I will admit its loud.

This is the one I have. Bought it off of TBH a few years ago. Darton Viper SS extreme. Blows through deer so fast they don’t even know what happened. Shoots a 440gr bolt over 360fps.
If it gets used ever again it will be because I have no choice. Might shoot pigs with it.

I use to call them crossdressing bows but now since I’ve turned 70 I got one last year that matches my heels. Kidding
