    New tires? Nitto Recon Grapplers

Thinkin bout pulling the trigger on these tires for my 2022 Ram 2500. They have a 55k mileage warranty on them. I’ve ran Nitto’s on the past and was pleased but I kind of had my heart set on Toyo’s as they have treated me well over the years. the R/T’s only have a 40k warranty and cost a little more but I know they are good tires and work for me.

Curious if anyone has ran these specific Nitto’s? Thoughts?
Im not interested in any other brand outside of Nitto or Toyo.

I bought a set of those. They are almost impossible to keep balanced.. We had better mud tires in the 80’s!!
          Made in Mexico junk..

But hey they do wear good.

I’ve had the exact same problem as PondPopper.

Ehhh....I'd go Toyo or just about anything else. I had issues with balancing as well.

I am on my 4th straight set of Nittos now and I have had nothing but stellar results from these tires, and that's running 37's on a deleted and tuned Chevy Duramax with a 6.5 inch lift, often towing heavy loads.

My most recent set had 77,000 miles when I replaced them before going on a trip to Montana. I'm currently running the Recon and I like them better than the Terra or Ridge Grappler.

Nittos have been so good to me that I cannot possibly spend my money on any other tire at this time... Your mileage may vary!

My experience hasn't been as good as I had hoped for. 2017 F-250 with stock 20" wheels......they skip every time I hit a small bump, like they are too light or something. Also, terrible wet weather traction on the street. As far as wear and mud/rock they are fantastic though. I took of a set of Cooper SST Pro's and they were way better except they wore down quick and didn't love the rocky hill country (the coopers were aggressive and seemed to tear)

I am running a set if Cooper SST’s right now and they havent balanced well since I bought them. But for what I paid, Ive dealt with it for the last 36k miles but Im done. I cant deal with it much longer. Im headed to the mountains to ski here in about 3 wks and I would line a set of new tires prior to leaving. Im torn. I was hoping for better reviews.
I do pull spme. I have a 36’ travel trailer and Im pull a stock trailer a couple times a month. I may just get the Toyo’s since I know what Im getting there.

I have nothing bad to say about Nitto's either. Currently running 37 ridge grappler. on my truck and my wife's jeep. I don't think you can go wrong with Nittos or toyos. But I haven't experienced the issues stated above. I've ran both and had great results.

I just put a set of 295/60/R20 Recons on my 2019 Duramax. Really like the new tread pattern.
I have 160 K miles in this truck & the previous 2 set of tires were the Ridge Grapplers. Usually get 70K mile out of a set of Nitto's
I ruined a tire on my last set & had to buy 1 tire to get by. I have it 295/65/R20 ( 5K miles on it/like new ) if someone needs just 1.
