I'm not sure what happened to this thread last time so I will try it again! Let me know if it is not allowed.
I keep a pasture booked at the Callaghan Ranch every April and this year the dates are from noon Thursday 4/18/24 thru noon on Sunday 4/21/24 and looking for 2-3 people to join me. The guys that have gone with me the last couple years ended up buying a ranch with javelina on it so they have no need to go this year. I think the pasture is around 8,000 acres total. It is big and there are parts you won't see in 3 days! I don't even go to hunt anymore. I just go to look for arrowheads, drive my buggy around, fish, watch animals (deer, javis, rattlesnakes), drink a beer, eat a good steak, and bs a little around the camp fire. I don't mind showing/telling someone where we have had luck in the past but the whole place is pretty good for javis. The camp has 2 mobile homes. The one I typically stay in has 1 bedroom/1bath and a kitchen. The other has 3 bedrooms/2 bath with no kitchen but I think it may have a fridge. Everyone typically shares the kitchen which has 3 fridges in it. There is a covered patio for cooking and eating and you can watch deer at the camp feeder. It's not 5 star accommodations but it's pretty nice for a deer camp and cold AC. It does get hot down there in April sometimes. There is a walk in cooler as well. I don't make any money off this as you can send them or me the deposit and then you pay the remainder upon arrival. The cost is $200 per night per person so $600 per person for the trip ($200). You do have to purchase corn from them if you want to corn the roads (ranch rule). You'll also have to provide your own food or we can split up some meals. There are a couple of nice lakes that are stocked with bass that I usually fish. It's bow only this year (ranch rule). I'm sure I'm leaving lots of info out. PM me for details/questions.
