Closing a thread

I apologize if this is a double post. I tried to find the answer, but was unsuccessful. Just curious, how do I close a post in the classifies?

There is a little box in the thread listing that you can see on your threads. Check it then go to Filtering top right. It gives the option to close.

I can see and check the box but there is not a close option that I can find in the filter?

I finally got mine to close this morning in the Classifieds. I had to go off my actual thread, back to the main Classifieds topic then click the right side box on my thread. Then there are options at the top of all of the threads and one of them is close. I know that is hard to follow and seems to make no sense, but I could never find a way to close it while I was in my actual thread.
