I went there to talk about a truck that was on their website. Turned out they had this truck in Houston and not at their dealership.
When I got there knowing we just going to talk about the truck I was looking at on the website, that wasn’t even there. The car salesman had a paper with charges. He had some things on there I wasn’t wanting to pay for. GPS and transportation. I told him could take the GPS thing off because I didn’t ask or want it. I told him I didn’t want to pay for transportation since it was on their website.
He took that off but not before trying to talk me out of it and conceding that it wasn’t my fault the truck that was listed on there lot wasn’t there. He asked me what it would take to get me to buy it. Remember he hasn’t had any money taken off really because these are things that were on his list were dealer charges that are added. I only asked for $1000 off and only the items that were not negotiable like taxes, local and state fees. He said he could move on the price listed. He then acted like he talked to the Sales Manager and came back and said he couldn’t. He said they were number one dealer and I said then you should be able to move $1000 then.
He then asked me again what it would take him to get me the buy this truck, he even said he would drive to Houston to pick up myself. I told him if he was up for a road trip that was on him. I told him all I wanted was $1000 off so I would closer to the asking price for the out the door price.
He acted like he went back on more time. This time on the paper he had with just the two items marked off he stamped “Final deal” and wrote “Take it or leave it”. I asked him if he has ever heard of an internet review before and this also what is called an insult.
So I left a not so good review if google Chris Kiefner review of Becken Masters you can see it.
Today I got an email asking if I was contacted and taken care of. I looked at my wife and said you got to be $h!tt!ng me.
My salesman’s first name was Greg and he was an older gentleman.
