    Anyone in the stand?

Me and my oldest are in the pop up over looking hand corn. Don’t have a lot of hope with this wind blowing like it us but can’t kill one from the bed. Quite so far, just a couple crows.

No wind here. No deer either. Game camera shows they were here from 11 pm to 4 am. Oh well, maybe the right one will come along anyway.

Had plans but one of the grandkids caught the flu.

I’m on stand. One deer moving through the woods a hundred yards out but couldn’t even identify it. Nothing but squirrels since.

Pulled my camera card 2 days ago and lots of deer moving at night. One thing I`ve noticed the last 2-3 time I`ve gone is how spooky the deer are. Things you could get away with in October have gone out the window. Lots of foliage is also gone from the mesquites and other trees and bushes making it harder to get into your afternoon spot undetected. You need to get there earlier if you can.

I hunt in San Jacinto County. Corn is piling up under the feeders. Pulled cards yesterday and the only deer seen were at night. The property is covered with acorns!
Tough to hunt when the only pictures for the last month are all night.
