Electric winch

Adding an electric winch from harbor freight to my shop to hang and process deer from. Would y’all think a heavy duty chain ran through the rafters would work? It has a 2x6 but I don’t trust the bolts holding it up to hold the weight of winch plus deer-

Put a good pulley that will help with friction. I got mine at Tractor supply and it makes all the difference.

looking at less that Turkey Call Television a deer and that gets less as you cut it up.

I have one at my shop. I found a piece of thick walled square stock to hang it on and went from truss to truss. Done 4 or 5 deer and so far no problem.

Is that wood or metal framing under insulation?

1/4 inch bolts??? They will hold a lot more weight than a 2x6 laying flat.
