    Viewing Trailcam pics

My laptop just bit the dust. Now that i am retired about all i use it for is viewing TC pics and don't really want to buy another laptop just for that. I was wondering if there are any good options for something just to view pics? Academy sells a small viewer, it works OK, but the resolution sucks. I have an iPhone, but the adapters i have seen require you to DL all the pics on the card to the phone, before you can view any, I don't care for that. What about Android, do they require you to DL al the pics on the card to view them? I thought about getting a small tablet, but i want to plug in a card and see a folder w the pics and not have to DL all of them to view just some of them. Are there other options?

We have been using a card reader made by HME "hunting made easy" to iPhone or iPad with an app called "iBrary" ... It allows you to view card without downloading to phone. It's 29.99 on their website but 13.39 on Amazon.

Bone View does not require you to download all the pics into the iPhone to view them. That’s what we use here at the ranch I work at.

BoneView allows hunters to VIEW, SAVE, SHARE, and DELETE trail camera SD cards using their iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone or Android tablet

Is there a tablet that has an SD slot in it where you can view pictures?

We just use a card viewer wired to the TV in the camp house.

I had a reader that used IBrary, and it was very unstable for me, they have probably improved it by now

Can you elaborate on this? Sounds like the way to go.

Look up a Micca SD card reader. Its plug and play, I got mine on Amazon.

Look on Amazon for iPhone sd card reader. I plug mine into the lightning connector and you can download or view the pics from the photos tab on your iphone

I am in the same boat as OP. I have gone the iPad route with the SD card reader and HATE it.

I use my desktop, but can also use BoneView when I’m away from home to view on either iPhone or IPad
