Totally irrelevant but our high school marching band played for their arrival of the very 1st flight into DFW. Those folks getting off the plane walked out to "Deep in the Heart of Texas" from our band.
The looks on their faces was priceless, most looked they were thinking WTH. This was in 1980 or so.
Sorry, weird tangent for the thread.

Lufthansa is above both those other companies. My in-laws fly with them twice a year back home and love those flights.
I personally won't fly American if I can help it. One of the worst airlines I've ever experienced. BA, I have never flown, so I wouldn't take the risk of it being worse the Lufthansa.

Biz Class is super nice as noted above.....clearly the best of the 3!!! Ditto concerning American, we avoid like the plague. British Airways seems to be route specific, no real complaints but not consistent.
Your agent can see the configuration options if you cannot for each flight. You will enjoy the service and seating if in biz class or 1st class.Last edited by Landrover; 12-05-2023, 12:39 PM.

I have flown them all, domestic and European. Lufthansa is always my top choice. They have a premium economy that is below the business class, but it is really nice with some amenities you will not get in economy. If you have the coin to fly in business ok. They have great service and you will not be disappointed.

My general input is overseas carriers are better. You never know if you're getting someone's best day or their worst. AA - no thanks for overseas flights. BA - only flown twice and nothing negative and nothing great. LA has always treated me well. For Asia travel Singapore or Cathay Pacific are my preferred carries. They are all about the same, but the overseas carriers seem to place a bigger emphasis on general pleasantness with the FAs. You can also check out https://www.seatguru.com/charts/longhaul_economy.php for seat specs depending on carrier, class of service, etc.

It has been since covid but I flew multiple times a year for work before then and always had a good experience. I was flying into Nigeria and even their representative in Port Harcourt were good to deal with (that is saying a whole lot if you've ever dealt with a Nigerian airport). I've flown Air France a few times as well and would rate Lufthansa ahead of AF.
The fist class lounge in Frankfurt is really nice. Showers, nap room, and massages if you want. Along with a full buffet. After a 60 day stretch in Nigeria, it was like a slice of Heaven walking into there.

Great airline , nothing bad to say. There are better and worse seats on their flights and all that you can check online according to SeatGeek reviews.
As we all know, the right seat can make a difference during a flight, and having the ability to check online for better options adds an extra layer of convenience. Here's to more pleasant journeys with this airline!
