    Call me stupid

AND LUCKY. I took a 4wheeler with a spray tank (empty) on back in my pickup to Corpus to try to do something with my cut ant infestation. Backing down the ramps and the left ramp slipped off the tailgate. Over we went. My foot was pinned and i had to slip out of my shoe to get my foot out. I tried to push the bike off me but couldn't do it. My wife and some neighbors came running to help. Something hit the side of me knee pretty hard but the luck part is I'm up and mobile. Sure I will be sore in spots in the morning.

Glad you escaped serious injury or worse brother.

My brother flipped over backwards once trying to drive up ramps in the back of his truck, he ended up getting a bloody nose out of the deal. Glad you weren’t hurt severely. Maybe time to get a little trailer.

Not stupid, just lucky. Glad you didn't get hurt bad. That could have been a bad deal.

Dang, we are to old to have those freak accidents. Glad you weren’t hurt to bad.

Yeah I’m too old for that “4wheeler in the back of a truck” thing. I’ll hook up to one of the trailers or figure something else out. I’d do that even if I had to rent one.

Glad to hear you made it out mostly for the better.

I feel like a sissy when I run a strap from the ramps to the truck when using mine.

Glad you're OK and I guess I'll definitely keep doing so.

Not only do we not bounce well anymore, we don’t mend as well either. Glad it wasn’t worse than it was !

Glad you're OK. I never had the ***** to try that. With all of construction injuries I've had I bought a 10' trailer with a fold down tailgate. I walked off a roof when I was early 30's and didn't bounce then either. That was my first life and I've a couple more since. I move slower now and think 6 times not twice.

                        Ok, Stupid! Ha!
In the past I hauled my 4wheeler the same way, until the samething happened to me, except my cat like reflexes, spider sense and my way with the force, I was able to jump off of mine....I was about 30 at the time. From then on, it has been trailers for me

That happened to me once, then I drilled some holes in the tailgate and bolted some some bolts on the ramps. Then just slide the bolts in the holes.
                          Glad you are ok.

Glad it wasn't any worse than that & thanks for posting this. I put my 4 wheeler in the back of the truck also about 1/3 of the time because I just don't feel like dragging the trailer around. It's going on the trailer from now on.

It happens in a split second. I turned one over on me one time and there was nothing I could do about it while it was happening!

                              Glad you are OK!!!!
