Looking for a recommendation for defensive driving. When I took it ten years ago I did it online and was able to complete a section and answer the questions but had to wait some time before I could start the next section. During the down time I could go take care of other business. Can someone recommend a similar course. For those who are wondering, I am an involuntary participant in the Bastrop County Christmas Fund.

Unfortunately I've had to go through Defensive Driving several times... I've taken a different course each time and I believe the last course I took was comedydefensivedriving.com solely because I saw "shortest course allowed" and "no final exam." I got through the course and was able to dismiss the ticket from my record. It says TDLR approved, just double check that this will be sufficient before you go through the trouble, but I do believe this was the course I did last time - two years ago. I hope this helps! Blessings!

Well can I get a medal? I survived Defensivedriving.com. I can't speak to any of the other online offerings but this one is total BS. Questions about things not covered in the course material and questions about things covered in later sections of the course. One section devoted to the littering laws in Texas. What's that got to do with defensive driving? Just filling time IMO.
Best way to get through it is to click on the video and let it play while you read the text. There are no short cuts. When they say a section takes 40 minutes it takes 40 minutes.
There is one section on drinking and driving that has some victim impact statements that should be made available to our high school and college age students. Would have changed my behavior when I was that age had I seen that.
