I'm taking debate this semester at Tarleton and for it we have to give 2 speeches, one for something and the other against it. We could pick our own topics so I picked Antler Restrictions in Texas. What are some good reasons to have it??? I need at least 3.

C'mon texmax, it is 2012. NOBODY hunts for the primary purpose of feeding their family. If that were the case, there are plenty of does to shoot. Get real man.
Antler restrictions are beneficial to the overall age structure of a given population by protecting a large percentage of the youngest age class of deer, and allowing them to mature to breeding age.

If your seeking a debate, you'll have to look elsewhere.

It allows several things in a specific area or county
1: Deer to age and mature
2: Better antlers for future hunters
3: Better management of the deer herd.
(Before the brown and down mentality is strong, lots of yound and immature deers are killed, thus hurting your deer herd 2-3 years down the road.)
