Question for non-believers. I have been asked a few times over the years if aliens/UFOs show up for us all to see (proven real without doubt) if that would change my belief in God. The answer is yes.
So here's a question for those who do not believe in God or the Bible.

When the rapture happens and millions of people disappear are you going to make excuses and still not believe? IMO this is one of those things you should educate yourself on so when it happens (I know "if" it happens you keep thinking) you can already know. If you do not you'll just fall for the lies humanity will be shouting as that will be the easy path at that point in time.

Watch the new Left Behind movie. If nothing else watch it and tell me that if the rapture happened soon the things in the movie would not happen. I think most would agree the movie is accurate how people would react.

I guess my question is why would aliens of all things change your belief in God? To me it's no different than creatures not yet discovered in the deepest parts of the ocean or other parts of this world not yet seen by man. I'm not sure how that's any different.

I have a neutral stance on the subject because just like every other human on planet earth I can't prove or disprove anything. But believing just to say you believe in something "just in case" is believing for all the wrong reasons. If there's any doubt in your heart you might hide that from the outside world but if there's someone or something out there that requires belief without doubt, people that believe for the sake of believing will be left behind or in hell right alongside anyone who just flat doesn't believe. God created the universe and all things in it right? Seeing through fear or doubt shouldn't be no big thing for him then I wouldn't imagine.

Aliens and God are in the same boat. Nobody knows what's out there. That is where belief and faith come into play. Maybe they're both real. Maybe they're both a story as old as time. If I knew I'd be....you know....not going to work in the morning. Because I'd be a very rich man. But I don't so I'll just go to work and wait on Jesus or a space ship to come. I'm pretty sure I'll see at least one of the two, maybe both at the same time. Different Jesus, illegal alien. I'm sure it will just be magical. Can't wait.

If I'm left behind and things go to hell and asteroids start falling, good. I hope one really big one lands right on top of me and blows me to pieces. That would be fantastic. If aliens come down to earth that's cool too as long as they don't shove anything up my butt. That would be less than ideal. I'm not real worried about it. I got other things to focus on. Both subjects concern me about as much as the age old question "where's Bigfoot?" or "where's Waldo?"

I guess I just don't understand why aliens and God can't be real and when we die we just cease to exist.... disappear, vanish....then that's it. People make things way more complex than need be. Can't just die, oh no that's too scary. Gotta go somewhere after. No, not necessarily. Into the earth is where we'll go. That's 100% for sure a certainty. True story.

Hate to burst anyones bubble but if either one came to earth right this second they would both be very disappointed. Jesus could fit the amount of people he'd take back to heaven with him in a Voltswagon Beetle. And the aliens wouldn't find any intelligent people here.

Interesting movie. I have numerous folks in my life that are over the top christens. I would make a bunch of calls the day after to prove or dis-prove the subject..

Like we all get to see aliens. Or one massive UFO ship flying around. IMO if aliens come here we will know. But this isn't about aliens.


Johnny - That will not help you know. If you really study the Bible (and/or all other Churches that claim to be the real true religion/church) you'll see that most people that profess to be Christian are not. So it's a guess but out of 100 people who say they are Christian maybe 15-35% actually know Christ. So odds are on your first phone call someone answers and you will say..see it was not the rapture.

The point in this thread is people WILL find reasons once it happens to be able to say it was not the second coming.

Finally, a RR thread I agree with. When the Rapture happens those of us who go are already prepared for it. Those that stay it will be too late.

I have a book, "It Could Happen Tomorrow" by Gary Frazier. I read this book when Obama was President. Mr. Frazier's predictions and explanations are eerie on how accurate for modern times and how they align with Revelations, the rapture, and end times. I will send it the first person who PM me their address.

One thing Pastor Robert Jeffers reminded his listeners of is how would you describe tanks, airplanes, and rockets to someone who lived over 2000 years ago? If they saw these things, how would they describe them?

I believe this will be the case.

Just not sure how, after reading this thread, they will actually be able to convince themselves of that.

funny thing... a lot of the "true believers" that ive seen or read about are folks that have made some really bad decisions in life. been to prison, killed, drugs, worthless humans that have turned around per say. is that what god is really looking for? makes you wonder
