i have a little spot to hunt and didnt know what you preferred for hogs lights? a bow mounted one or solar powered ones? like in the amazon link

I can’t answer your question but I just bought a couple of lights that looks basically identical to the one you linked, and it was a good bit cheaper.

Do a search for BSOD hog lights. I haven’t been able to do much with them yet because I just got them in yesterday but they seem to be well made.

In past experience I preferred to use a feeder light with the lighted pins on my bow but just a personal preference.

We've put up both green and white lights on different feeders just to see how different animals reacted. Very little reaction from the green lights by deer and hogs, deer might have been a bit more aware of it for the first week or so but didn't really change much. The white lights(cheap solar security lights) to my surprise didn't have as much effect on them as I thought. Most definitely had more impact than the green but after 2-4 nights the pigs were back just like normal, took the deer a little longer to get used to the white lights but everything was back to normal in a couple weeks with the deer feeding regularly. We use the feeder mounted lights in combination with the green predator lights on our rifles/bows for those pigs that won't quiet get into the light enough to get a good shot.

Get the cheap white solar lights from amazon.

          the deer/hogs don't care.

We have the harbor freight white light solar security light on a feeder behind the trailer. Hogs don’t mind it a bit. Don’t really see deer there at night, but pigs and raccoons show up. We can see it from the living room, so we pause On Patrol and sneak out the back and shoot. Haha. Works just fine. They get used to it. Visiting a feeder often with no light and then all of a sudden having a bow mounted light hit them, I think would spook them more.

Add lighted pins on your bow and I think you would be in business with a solar security light providing the illumination.

Sniper hog lights more money but a lot brighter than the cheap green lights.

Save your money and get this item. Hogs will be used to it in 3-4 nights. Turns on at dark, and runs 6-10 hours depending on bright/dim setting and how much sunlight the solar panel gets. I have used nothing but these on one of my hog places.

I love the ASF hog lights. Put them on a t-post. No batteries, all solar. Work AMAZINGLY well. I have them on 5 feeders.
