    Fish feeder problems - otters?

I have a good friend of mine that has some property in Robertson County, west of Centerville, TX. We made a fish feeder out of a 30 gallon metal barrel, timer, Eliminator spin plate, solar panel, etc along with a 4" PVC pipe frame to make it float. It was pretty sturdy, and we put it out opening weekend. He seems to have a otter problem, and I was wondering if one of those could flip a fish feeder? We anchored the feeder in the middle of the pond with a cinder block filled with Quickcrete and it was attached to the center of the PVC 'frame.' He has them on camera in the same little pond that the fish feeder is in, and we are tired of having problems. Any suggestions?

Yes, do whatever it takes to kill the otters. They will clean his pond out !

He's already shot a few, but they seem to be there when we are not.

Killing them all is your best bet.

If not, you won’t have fish to feed much longer.

What about mounting the feeder on the bank and using a directional motor? That way you could anchor the feeder.

Get some traps and pinch them.
