Need help for a friend.
A buddy of mine got into a family argument the other day and was told to see a psychiatrist. He needs to get an assessment done. Anyone know of a psychiatrist in the N.Dallas area? I'm not much help because I've never had to deal with anything like this. Thanks.

call his insurance company-they should be able to point him to all the dr.'s in the area. -
let your friend know he can either see a psychologist (PhD) or a psychiatrist (MD), either can do an assessment, both are Drs....the only difference is one can prescribe medicine if needed and one can not...Comment

was he told he needed to see someone BY LAW or another family member suggested it ?
