    Online Estate Auction in Bryan

My parents have moved to Austin and are downsizing so I'm giving everyone a heads up regarding their online estate auction. They're getting rid of 60+ years of treasured items they've collected along the way. Antiques, furniture, trains, hunting apparel, tools, etc.

Bidding started today and will end on Tuesday at 7:00 P|M. You will find it at the link below:

    https://www.estatesales.net/TX/Bryan/77803/3871275

    Update:

This link shows only part of what is available for auction. Click the "bid" button on any item to be taken to the seller's website for more items.

Still there. Plan to contend with it after the estate auction.

Our garage apt was emptied last week when our renter moved. It will be my sports room starting now.
There are numerous items I would like to buy in this sale. Bed, kitchen table, couch and chair, glass antiques, etc. Just too **** busy to bid and wait. Guess I could put my internet guy on it - and he charges me $50.00 an hour.
I can be there today with cash. Bed $250.00 kitchen table $125.00 couch and chair $150.00,

Interested call me. Johnny seven one three 819- six 4 four nine..

Managed to "win" on the barrister at your folks auction! My son picked it up today and it will be a Christmas present for my wife! Thanks for the heads up on the auction and I will also say that the folks that did the auction run a good program! They managed to get an extra $75 out of me by extending it when i got into a bidding war!! Was a neat house too! Thanks again

Not only am I grateful you participated, I’m glad you were the winning bidder!

I agree, the estate sale folks ran a great show. I know first hand because I had to buy a couple of things back that showed up online, much to my surprise (things I’d somehow missed when removing items of value, sentimental or otherwise).

Congratulations again, and thanks for sharing.

Estate sales aren’t easy, my wife spends two weeks getting one cleaned, cleared, staged, and priced, then 4 days of sale, and finally two days of wrap up. Burleson, Mansfield area.

You’re not kidding. It’s physical work and often dirty work, too.

I told my husband about your winning bid on the bookcase. Before we decided to include it in the auction, he went back and forth several times before he finally decided to let it go. In other words, you have a highly coveted item!

Not sure how Santa will manage to get that thing down the chimney but, please, I’d love to know how your wife likes it after she sees it.

I know what you mean about the extension of time after each bid. The coin books that were featured in the auction had not been discovered until the auction folks started going through things. I’d spent the better part of the year going through the house gathering and cataloguing those items we wanted to keep, and never came across them. These were coins my grandfather, who was an avid metal detector enthusiast, had collected over his lifetime so you can imagine my horror at seeming them up for auction! Ultimately, I was able to buy them back but it was nerve wracking there for a while.

I am sure she will love the barrister! We have an 1896 farmhouse in Round Top. Little did I know 19 years ago when we bought it that I would spend the rest of my life finding "OLD STUFF" to go in it!!! We have several barristers already, but she is in the medical field and has way too many books, so I figured one more would be a nice surprise!!! Thanks again and I will let you know how it goes at Xmas and I assure you we will be good stewards of it for the rest of our lives!

Glad you got the coin collection back!
