What time frames are y’all seeing these days to get a can? Did the electronic system help the wait at all?

Just did one this year actually... I submitted my e-form 4 on January 18, approved on September 21.

Submitted 1/23/23 approved 10/23/23. Still do not have it in hand. Silencer central is SLOW.

Dang still looking at 9 months plus! I did hear silencer central is pretty slow though. Do local gun store have about the same wait?

I just did my 4th can at a local dealer, under a trust. He said expect about 6 months, hopefully that’s right. First E form, others were done on paper forms.

Mine was through a local shop so I had mine in hand the same day it was approved.

I did 2 on Nov 18 last year. I had 1 approved in 5 months and the other one was 6 months. E-file through Capitol Armory.

I submitted for mine in January of 2023 I called the atf about every 2-3 months and they kept saying "pending" so finally about 4 months ago I had enough and sent a few emails with the help of saddle river range in conroe. Come to find out they lost all of my paperwork and "claimed" they approved it January of 2023, So they had to email me copies of my stamp and then I was able to pick it up within about 2 days.

I wonder how long you would’ve gone if you weren’t on top of it! Glad you got it done though! So they told you it was approved basically the same month you submitted it?

I don’t want to get anyone’s hopes up, but if you hop on Raleddit and go to the NFA page they have an approvals thread going. I’ve seen quite a few approvals in less than 90 days posted lately. It’s not the norm but they are out there. Seems trusts are still taking 160+ days.
