My family and my wife's combine to draw names every year for Christmas, and we each buy for one person plus the kids. Our limit for the adult we shop for is $200. We generally try to come up with several gifts to ask for so that we have a few things to open up. My wife and I are pretty comfortable, manage our money well, and are able to afford the things we want, when we want them, so I'm having trouble finding stuff to ask for for Christmas. Please give me recommendations for cheap hunting/fishing things that I need to try. I already asked for some of those fancy alpaca socks. Thanks in advance.

The wife and I are in the same boat. We have too much junk as it is, so consumables are great and vacations are better. Everyone get wrapped up in getting someone SOMETHING. Give me your time, in any way you can. that's good enough for me. But bullets are always welcome. $200 of .223 or .45 or 9mm or arrows. $$ toward an adventure hunt.

Lithium battery power heated vest. Wear it over your shirt in early season. Under your jacket in late season. I've had one for 3 seasons now. It's made a world of difference in staying comfortable and drawing a bow. I bought all the family one last year. There are a few threads on these. I also did a lot of research before buying. Go with one that has the 7v battery pack for both heat and heated time. Also look for one that is heat adjustable, most are. If you have any questions, send me a PM.
