Any Polaris mechanics on the GS from the metroplex?

I have a 2019 Polaris Highlifter 1000 4 door with low miles and hours. It has always been hard to shift into gear. The last time I went to drive it, it took forever to go into gear and it ended up making a clanking noise. I put it right back in the garage and then started researching the web. Sounds like they have had trouble with their clutches!

Anyone work on them for a living that wants to do it on the side? Anyone else work on their own that wants to diagnose and work on mine? I would rather see my money go to one of our green screen brothers! Thanks for any leads. Tony

It could be as simple as the adjustment on the end of the shift cable at the transmission. I’ve seen it many times at my friend’s repair shop.

It was a known issue with the 2019's

Took mine into a dealer and it was fixed at no charge...

Thank You! I don’t know anything about them. Without a YouTube video I would be lost trying to fix it.

I have a guy in Waxahachie that does all my work. Very good and reasonable. DM me & I’ll send info.

Was it the shift cable adjustment?

Cold shifting on my ranger is clunky and stiff. After it warms up its shifts smoother. BUT I'll definitely look into the adjustment mentioned.
