    MegaMeat kills yet Again

I got complacent! Krivo on 5’ tower, doe at 5 yds!
it sounded like a 44 going off in there. There is no safe place when this happens . I thought my bow blew up but quickly found the issue . The tip and 1 blade lived to kill another day, the shaft turned into shreds and the luminok was still lit but in pieces. I’ve bow hunted since I was 14 and this is a first and hopefully last at age 59! The good news is that the Krivo window took the 70 lb punch

So uhh, how exactly would one tag that kill?

Kidding of course. Could’ve been worse though, at least you apparently weren’t hit by the ensuing shrapnel.

Sorry could not help but laugh. At least it wasn't a 150 inch 10 pt. Your deer blind windows are a lot cleaner than mine.

Wow! Did similar in a pop up earlier this week. Had a coon come in and decided to take him. Got out an old arrow that was designated for just this type occasion Didn’t pay attention and hit one of the angled support rods. Glancing blow, but broke the arrow. Broadhead and front of shaft were stuck in the ground about 5 feet in front of the pop up. I don’t know who had the most shocked look on their face, me or the coon!

Once I shot and it sounded like a 22 went off in my ear. Nock must’ve been slightly out of the arrow. No harm done though.

                      Back windows are likely dirty

Your blind did not jump the string!

                          Glad no injuries!

Don’t feel bad Wick I was in Canada bear hunting from a tree stand that had a handrail around it. When the moment of truth came at full draw I forgot to lean out to get past the handrail very easily could’ve broke a limb in another country with no back up. Oh and yes no bears were injured with that particular shot. Sounded like a hand cannon. Glad it ended well buddy.

I guess I have to admit to doing the same thing this year. Was trying to shoot a pig and the pig kept walking making me lean forward. When I shoot the bow was canted just enough for my sight to be clear of the side of window, but arrow was not.
