I just got a bid, for 30x40 metal building. 12' walls 3/12 pitch. 2 10x10 roll up doors and 2 windows

1" closed cell on walls & 2" closed cell on roof.... $7,600

I just had a 24 x 24 x 10 building done with 1 1/2 “ closed cell for $3300.Runnels county.

I have a quote for a 1440 sq foot house, exterior walls and roof for $5600 in Leon County.

Just had a 30' X 30' X 10' metal building with one walk through door done with 5'' of open cell on the walls and 2'' of closed cell on the roof. $6,100. I added an R15 batt in the walls on top of the foam.

My thoughts are, if you are going to have walls and ceilings save your money and go with batt insulation. I have the above building done with foam on the ceiling and two other buildings done with the regular vinyl backed insulation and ceiling temperatures are within 5 degrees of each other. Spray foam sucks for sound deadening also. I will never have another building foamed.

What ever the cost it's worth it, my electric bill runs me $175-$225 and my neighbors run $400-$600 during the summer months.
